We build infrastructure and structure the funding that pays for it

Egerco is an engineering, procurement, construction and funding (EPCF) group headquartered in Laval, Quebec. We assemble the consortium, arrange the capital through public-private partnerships and build-operate-transfer contracts, and stay with each asset into operation.

Our programs cover agriculture, energy, transport, mining and tourism in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and southern Europe.

01 · How we work

One consortium carries a project from feasibility through financing to operation

Many public projects stall between a sound plan and the capital to build it. Egerco works in that gap. We bring engineering firms, contractors, equipment suppliers and lenders into one consortium, arrange the financing, and see the asset through construction and into service.

PPP · Public-private partnership
A long-term contract in which a private consortium designs, finances and often operates a public asset.
BOT · Build, operate, transfer
The consortium builds the asset, operates it for an agreed term to recover its investment, then hands it to the public owner.
  1. 01

    Assess

Feasibility, engineering design, permits and project economics, so the public partner decides on firm numbers.

  2. 02

    Finance

A capital structure matched to the asset: PPP and BOT concessions, lenders and co-investors, and securitization of mining rights through our Luxembourg company.

  3. 03

    Build

Procurement and construction run by one program team, against the budget the financing was built on.

  4. 04

    Operate

Operation and maintenance for the concession term, then transfer of the asset to its public owner.

02 · Sectors

Five divisions apply the same model to different assets

  1. 01Infrastructure and energy

    Transport corridors and energy assets

Highways, regional transit and cross-border trade corridors, with projects in development in Central and West Africa. In energy, we co-develop industrial assets such as regasification terminals and refrigerated cold-chain platforms.

    • Highways and regional transit
    • Cross-border trade corridors
    • Regasification and cold chain
  2. 02Egerco Agri

    Agriculture and agropoles

Farm infrastructure that raises regional food output and links producers to export markets. An agropole is a hub that groups farming, storage, processing and transport in one place. Our program in the Democratic Republic of the Congo plans 184 of them, and a cold-chain route would carry their produce to import hubs in Europe.

    • DRC Agropoles Program
    • Cold-chain export routes to Europe
  3. 03Egerco Minerals

    Mining and critical minerals

Exploration, development and extraction of copper, cobalt, lithium and gold, run to Canadian mining practice and recognized environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards. We also plan the transport that moves raw and refined material to market.

    • Copper, cobalt, lithium and gold
    • Mine transport and logistics
    • Royalty and streaming securitization
  4. 04Egerco Tourism

    Real estate and tourism

Hospitality and public infrastructure that turns natural and cultural sites into local income. In the DRC, Villages Touristiques pairs tourism hubs with off-grid power, mobility circuits and public services. In Calabria, Italy, we are planning resorts with 450 keys in total across several properties.

    • Villages Touristiques, DRC
    • Resort development, Calabria
  5. 05Egerco Academy · Egerco Hope Foundation

    Social impact

Infrastructure lasts only as long as the people who run it. Egerco Academy trains local teams in site safety, emergency response and security cooperation with local authorities. The Egerco Hope Foundation supports neonatal screening, health-worker training and access to care for sickle cell disease, malaria and Ebola in sub-Saharan Africa.

    • Safety and emergency-response training
    • Neonatal screening
    • Sickle cell, malaria and Ebola care
